The Pope's Pond Bridge is back, and better than ever. Town Administrator David Colton, Selectmen and the DPW worked quickly to have the bridge restored after a May Fire. The fire has been attributed to arson.

"This bridge has become an important part of our community since it was rebuilt two years ago with the help of engineering students from Northeastern University," said DPW Director Walter Heller. "The town will do everything it can to protect it so that residents can enjoy the bridge and Pope's Pond, one of the most beautiful spots in Milton."

Arson Watch, 800-682-9229, is offering a $5,000.00 reward for information leading to the person or people who started the fire. All calls are confidential.
