The Milton Department of Public Works will have men and equipment on site to assist with the clean up and disposal of the trash and vegetation. We thank Walter Timilty and Brian Joyce for obtaining monies from the state in the effort to "clean up" Pine Tree Brook. We have extended an invitation to both of them and to Congressman Stephen Lynch to attend and see first hand why we are lobbying for the 4.4 million dollars from the Water Resources Development Act (WRDA) 2005 to remove the estimated 100,000 tons of sediment still in the brook. This invitation is be9ing hand delivered to the 600 homes in the Pine Tree Brook neighborhood. We hope to see you all on Saturday, October 22nd NEIGHBORS MAKE THE DIFFERENCE! |
